The 23rd Sunday after Pentecost; Sunday Worship with Holy Communion.
Associate College Pastor Katherine Fick will deliver the sermon, College Pastor Matthew Marohl will preside. James E. Bobb, Associate Professor in Music and the Cantor to the Student Congregation, will assist. The Manitou Singers will be conducted by Therees Hibbard, Associate Professor of Practice in Music. Comprised of alto and soprano voices from the first-year class, the Manitou Singers is one of the most popular music organizations on the St. Olaf College campus. With a repertoire that ranges from sacred to secular to popular ballads, the 100-voice choir sings at the opening worship service of the college as well as at various campus functions throughout the year.
Sunday Worship is a time of inspiration and worship for body, mind, and spirit; a meaningful beginning to a new week. All are welcome!
