Professor SturtzSreetharan is co-author of Fat in Four Cultures: A Global Ethnography of Weight. Her talk will draw on this book, her research surrounding the lived experiences of fatness, and challenging assumptions about body image. The talk is hosted in Viking theater and all are welcome to attend.
The St. Olaf Paw Program is ran by the St. Olaf Wellness Center, and it allows for students to interact with dogs without leaving campus.
