You are eligible to apply if you
- are in a discipline conventionally designated as Humanities or in related humanistic fields in the social sciences, fine arts, and interdisciplinary programs, and
- have a minimum 0.50 FTE appointment at St. Olaf College for the full academic year during which application is being made and the academic year following the award, and
- attend a DHH Incubator session. Incubators are informal, low-risk planning sessions that provide opportunities for brainstorming your ideas with colleagues and members of the DH Team, and receiving feedback and suggestions to help your proposal and project take shape. If attendance at an Incubator is impossible, please contact the DH Team to arrange a consultation.
Although we welcome applications from all individuals who meet the above criteria, preference may be given to applicants who have not received College-funded support (e.g., Sabbatical leave, Professional Development Grants) in the past two years. Faculty who are teaching during the designated grant period should design projects accordingly to accommodate teaching responsibilities.
