Omicron Delta Epsilon
With nearly 700 chapters, Omicron Delta Epsilon is one of the largest honor societies in the world. The purpose of the society is to encourage and recognize high scholastic attainment in economics and to establish closer ties between students and professors both within and across institutions of higher learning.
St. Olaf’s chapter, the Beta Chapter of Minnesota, is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating outstanding work in the Department of Economics. This includes publishing an independent in-house journal that showcases papers produced by students in St. Olaf economics classes. Eligible juniors and seniors are invited each year to apply.
