The General Counsel manages all legal affairs arising out of the various operations of St. Olaf College. Always guided by the best interests of the College, the General Counsel’s mission is to provide timely, thoughtful and practical legal advice that reflects St. Olaf’s mission and values, assures compliance with applicable legal obligations, and makes the best use of the College’s resources. The General Counsel represents St. Olaf College. This representation includes representing members of the Board of Regents, administrators, faculty, staff and students when these individuals are performing responsibilities on the College’s behalf.
