Gender & Sexuality
WELCOME TO THE 2025 – 2026 SCHOOL YEAR!
The Taylor Center for Equity and Inclusion is excited to support the development of students on their gender and sexuality self authorship journeys as members of St. Olaf College. Each member of our College Community deserves respect and human dignity in how we acknowledge and treat each other.
St. Olaf College supports and affirms a healthy gender identity and gender expression campus culture. Pronouns and preferred name usage are welcomed and supported and can be seen in college programs and services.

Out for Lunch Series
Out For Lunch is a monthly event series which is focused on amplifying LGBTQIA+ culture in society and the intersections which members of the community hold and value in their daily lives. A vibrant lunch conversation that is open to the entire College community. We hope that you will join during the 24-25 academic year Out For Lunch Series.

LGBTQIA+ History Month 2025
On Wednesday, October 1 – 31, 2025 begins the observance of LGBTQIA+ History Month in the United States and other places such as Cuba, Germany, Australia, and the United Kingdom. LGBTQIA+ History Month was founded in 1994 by Rodney Wilson, who is a Missouri high-school history teacher, to amplify Queer history and to highlight the contributions of LGBTQIA+ people to society and civil rights movements.
A number of activities are planned to celebrated LGBTQIA+ History Month at St. Olaf College – our observation of this month aligns with our mission and our values as a liberal arts institution. Join us at one of the many activities planned to observe LGBTQIA+ History Month. CLICK HERE
