Nominate an Ole for an Alumni Award!
Do you know an Ole who deserves to be recognized for their achievements and service to the community? Nominate them for a St. Olaf Alumni Award!
Nominations are open now through Friday, February 24. To recommend an Ole for the award, simply fill out the nomination form. The selection of this year’s Alumni Award recipients will take place in May, with a ceremony on campus in November.
St. Olaf has hosted the Alumni Awards ceremony for more than 50 years. The college’s Board of Regents and the Alumni Association bestow the award on alumni whose accomplishments have brought honor to self and to the college; whose service and leadership have exemplified its ideals; and whose concern for St. Olaf has supported and strengthened its program. In honoring these graduates for their exceptional achievements and professional contributions, they become an integral part of college history and a testament to St. Olaf’s tradition of excellence.
There are three categories of awards:
- The Distinguished Alumni Award, which honors alumni with exceptional professional achievements who have used their talents and skills in volunteer service to the community and St. Olaf.
- The Alumni Achievement Award, which honors alumni with exceptional professional achievements who have advanced a profession or field and improved the quality of life for a segment of society.
- The Outstanding Service Award, which honors alumni for their distinguished and meritorious volunteer service to the community and St. Olaf.
