My research interests include the intersections of psychology, biology, and politics—with a particular focus on ideology and attitudes—as well as media and campaigns. I adore teaching (and researching) American politics, institutions, race, and methods, and have a penchant for 18th century America and the 1787 Constitutional Convention. I also know all the words to "Hamilton," and I wrote a book about the prevalence (and necessity) of contradictory, hypocritical attitudes within the American political landscape.
