💛 50th REUNION SPOTLIGHT

Head to Tomson 280 on Friday to hear three Ole Talks featuring some of your 1975 classmates and faculty/staff speakers.

Civil Discourse in Challenging Times | 2–2:45 p.m.
Tony Trimble ’75, Patrick Cabello Hansel ’75, and Joel Ario ’75
This moderated session will discuss experiences with civil discourse during the Vietnam War and Nixon-McGovern eras, as well as considerations for the future.

Regenerative Farming Practices: Good for Farmers, Fields, and Food Production | 3–3:30 p.m.
Deb Held Fant ’75
Learn how farmers are educating fellow farmers about alternative practices that work with nature’s systems to increase biodiversity on farms. Learn how consumers can support this “green revolution” in food production and how you can apply regenerative principles to your own gardens.

Composing a Life in the Third Chapter | 3:45–4:30 p.m.
Dr. Deanna A. Thompson ’89, Director of the St. Olaf Lutheran Center for Faith, Values, and Community.
In this interactive session, explore the life and vocations we composed during our time at St. Olaf and how that “college composition” has directed and influenced our lives and callings over the past 50 years. We will also consider what life composing is calling most to us in this current chapter of life and our vision for what’s ahead.

Class of 1975 Reminders!

Want to perform a song, poem, story, or joke at the Thursday evening Arts Cafe? Email Yata Peinovich at yatasp@gmail.com to sign up.

During the Saturday Service of Remembrance, classmates will be invited forward to place a stone in a basin of water in memory of a classmate or friend. We invite you to bring a stone from home that has special meaning to you.

Help us create a beautiful Service of Remembrance tribute together. Email Jenny at jennyn@san.rr.com and include your vocal section if you know it (Soprano I/II, Alto I/II, Tenor I/II, Baritone, or Bass).
