Please review this information along with the Schedule of Events for the weekend.
When you arrive on-campus, check-in on the ground floor of Buntrock Commons to receive your lanyard and housing assignment. If staying overnight, we advise parking near Buntrock Commons to check-in before proceeding to your dormitory.
PLEASE NOTE:
You must be wearing your lanyard at all times to access meal and entertainment venues.

ACCESSIBILITY
Whenever possible, we are committed to making our alumni events accessible to everyone. If you have accessibility needs that you didn’t mention during registration or have questions, please contact the Alumni Office at 507-786-3028 or email alum-office@stolaf.edu so we can partner with you to make the necessary arrangements.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG POLICY
Alcohol is only allowed in designated areas and must be purchased from St. Olaf. Guests under 21 will be given a wristband at check-in. Wristbands are required to access meal and entertainment venues during the weekend. St. Olaf reserves the right to ID any guest at any time when serving or selling alcoholic beverages.
Please note that all Reunion Weekend bars will operate using a drink token system. Cash will not be accepted. You can purchase drink tokens at the Ole Shop on Buntrock Plaza and other designated locations. Pre-purchased tokens can be picked up at the Ole Shop.
The possession, use, manufacture, and distribution of illicit drugs, including products that contain THC, are prohibited on campus.
St. Olaf College is a smoke-free campus.
CASH
Please note that many St. Olaf vendors are now cashless. We advise bringing a credit card or debit card with you to complete transactions while on-campus. If needed, an ATM is available in Buntrock Commons. The Bookstore will take cash.
CHILDREN
Children are welcome at St. Olaf for Reunion Weekend, but on-campus amenities are limited. We advise packing the following items for those under 3 years of age: Portable crib and high chair, stroller, extra snacks and beverages, and diapering supplies. There is a lactation room in Buntrock Commons for breastfeeding mothers. Please request the key from Registration. No on-site babysitting services are offered during Reunion Weekend.

COVID-19 AND INFECTIOUS DISEASE GUIDELINES
In keeping with the college’s current guidelines, COVID-19 vaccines are not required to attend Reunion Weekend. The college strongly recommends that all members of our campus community remain up-to-date with COVID vaccines, per CDC guidance. Masks are not required during Reunion, but visitors are welcome to wear a mask wherever they wish while visiting campus.
If a visitor begins to feel ill, we ask you to not attend public events or to put on a well-fitting mask. Guests who develop COVID-19 or other infectious disease symptoms while at St. Olaf are asked not to eat indoors. Outdoor seating will be available on the campus green.
The College reserves the right to amend these visitor expectations at any point up to or during the course of Reunion Weekend. Changes will be communicated to registered guests via email.

DINING
Please note that on-campus dining options are extremely limited. When you check-in, your lanyard will indicate if you are registered for meals. If you did not pre-register for meals, you are only able to purchase meals on-site for Saturday breakfast and lunch, or Sunday brunch. Other options include dining in Northfield, DoorDash, the Cage, or the bookstore, which sells snacks and cold beverages. Please view the schedule of events for the Bookstore and Cage hours.
ENTERTAINMENT
Please check the latest Schedule of Events to see the variety of entertainment options we have in store for you! Reunion Weekend is designed with you in mind, so plan to join us on-campus for the entire weekend.
HOUSING
- Keys are not issued, so please leave your valuables at home.
- The main doors to the residence halls will be open from 7 a.m. to midnight.
- Front desk attendants in each hall are available to open the door until 1 a.m.
- After 1 a.m., call Public Safety at 507-786-3666 for access to your residence hall.
RESIDENCE HALL CHECK IN
Please check in at registration in the Buntrock Commons to receive your housing assignment.
If you arrive after 9 p.m. and you are staying in a residence hall, please check in at the front desk of the residence hall assigned to your class year. In the morning, please visit Registration in Buntrock Commons to receive your lanyard.

ROOMMATES
If you registered with another guest, if registrants indicated on another as a roommate preference, you will be housed together. If you do not register with another guest and you did not indicate a roommate, you will be housed in your own individual room.
HOUSING DESCRIPTION
Most rooms are furnished with two single beds. If you register alone, no one else will be assigned to your room. Bed linens (a pillow, sheets, and a blanket), towels, and a washcloth are furnished. For your added comfort, you may wish to bring:

DORM RESTROOMS
Bathrooms are not in individual rooms. Gender-neutral or single-stall bathrooms will be available in every dorm.
GUESTS UNDER 21
Guests under 21 will be given a wristband at check-in. Wristbands are required to access meal and entertainment venues during the weekend. St. Olaf reserves the right to ID any guest at any time when serving or selling alcoholic beverages.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of inclement weather, every effort will be made to move Reunion Weekend activities indoors. Text message announcements, updates to the online schedule of events, and signage in Buntrock Commons will be used to communicate changes to guests.
LANYARDS AND WRISTBANDS
Lanyards will be issued at registration. Guests under 21 will receive wristbands. Lanyards and wristbands are required to access meal and entertainment venues during the weekend. Please remember to keep them with you. You may be asked to retrieve them if you leave them in your room.
MEDICAL/HOSPITAL
For emergencies, please call 911. Should you require medical assistance during Reunion Weekend, Northfield Hospital and Clinics offers comprehensive care. Urgent care is located at 2014 Jefferson Road, Suite C, Northfield. The hospital emergency room is located at 2000 North Avenue, Northfield.
PARKING
Please be advised that Lot L behind Tomson Hall will be closed Monday, May 19, through Monday, June 2, to accommodate operation needs for Commencement and Reunion weekends. Accessible parking spaces and assigned parking (such as the space awarded to a United Way participant for the month) will remain permitted for parking in Lot L.
No parking is allowed by yellow painted curbs or fire lanes. Reunion guests are also asked to refrain from parking on the grass.
Reunion guests are welcome to park in any on-campus parking lot, including those designated for faculty and staff. If parking is no longer available on upper campus, there is ample parking in the Skoglund/Tostrud lot, to which a shuttle will be regularly circulating (see Transportation).
In the unlikely event you receive a parking ticket while on-campus, please email alum-office@stolaf.edu with the citation number and your name and a member of the Alumni and Parent Relations staff will address it for you.

PETS ON CAMPUS GROUNDS
No pets are permitted on campus with the exception of service animals. If you plan to bring a service animal, please email alum-office@stolaf.edu.

Golf carts and a “Tr-OLE” will be available to transport you to on-campus destinations during Reunion Weekend.

VALUABLES
Please leave your valuables at home or in your car. For those staying in campus housing, dorm keys will not be issued. While theft has not been a problem in the past, St. Olaf is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
WHAT TO WEAR
Most reunion guests elect to dress in casual clothes during the day with a focus on comfort. Please be sure to check the weather forecast regularly as Minnesota temperatures can vary greatly at this time of year! We also suggest packing a good pair of walking shoes. Class receptions and dinners are business casual.
YOGA
Check-in begins for registered participants at 8 a.m. in Skoglund. Upon arrival, please complete your waiver. It is recommended you bring your own mat. St. Olaf has a limited supply, and they will be first come, first served.
