Description: Rome, Italy. On a walk back from the Jewish Quarter in Rome, we stopped at a crosswalk adjacent to this bridge. As we waited for the light to change, we read the latin inscription carved on the side and realized what we had stumbled upon. This bridge, called the Pons Fabricius, is a Roman bridge, built originally in 62 BC. It is one of the oldest bridges still in use in the world.
