Description: This photo was taken atop Elephant Moutain (XiangShan), a mountain in Taipei that offers a magnificent city view. I hiked this mountain three times while I was in Taiwan, but this particular time was my favorite because it was during sunset, and you could start to see the city light up. What I particularly appreciate about Taipei is how easy it is to access nature, it is merely a brief metro ride away from the city center. This photo demonstrates the proximity of nature in Taipei to the city.
