Description: In Taiwan, besides public transportation, a primary mode of transportation for commuters is scooters. They are inexpensive and small so it is easier to get through narrow roads. There are even lanes on the road reserved only for scooters. One morning I got up at 7 am to photograph the hundreds of scooters exiting a highway to enter Taipei. This location is known as the "scooter waterfall" because when all the scooters come down the offramp, it looks like a waterfall. This photo does not do justice to what this looks like in person, but it does give people an idea because it looks like the scooters just go on and on.
