Description: This photo was taken outside of my rorbu (cabin) while I was on "The Journey North" J-Term trip in the arctic town of Svolvær, in Lofoten, Norway. The spectacular, snow covered mountains surrounded our coastal cabins on every side. When the sun began to set at a shockingly early 3:00 P.M., the mountains and cabins reflected a stunning purple and golden hue.
