Title: Copper Basin Hike

Description: I spent the month of January living at Holden Village in Chelan, Washington. This remote community is centered in the Lutheran tradition, which ties into the class I took nicely, called "Living Faith: Theology and Practice." Besides taking this class, I got to play in the snow a lot! Sledding, cross-country skiing, snowshoe hiking, and a village-wide winter Olympics (with events like snow sculpture and sledding). The whole month, I was immersed in the community of Holden Village and formed some great friendships with my classmates. There is a strong connection between Holden Village and St. Olaf, which meant that I met a lot of Ole Alum who live and work in the village, so cool! This image was taken on one of the hikes I participated in. This one was called Copper Basin!
