Dalia Istephanous, class of 2016 – Keynote Welcome
WTF Do I Do Now!?!
In her keynote welcome, Dalia Istephanous will share about her journey at St. Olaf and the twist and turns it took in leading to her decision to major in psychology and neuroscience and how that journey continued to unfold to her eventual J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. Reminiscing about the support and community she found on the Hill, Dalia will connect her accomplishments, failures, and persistence to her overall success in college all while trying to figure out WTF to do next.
During law school, Dalia clerked at the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office (Administrative Division), Minnesota Attorney General’s Office, and the Minnesota Conviction Review Unit. She was also part of Mark W. Osler’s Federal Commutations Clinic, helping clients file federal and state commutation petitions and reforming clemency policy.
Dalia is an associate attorney with Squires, Waldspurger & Mace, P.A. Her areas of practice include civil litigation, labor and employment law, municipal law, school law. Dalia is admitted to practice in both Minnesota state and federal court.
