- SSSD advisors meet regularly with students, weekly with first years and monthly with others, to offer advising on topics including course registration, academic topics, personal topics, and career counseling
- SSSD advisors utilize strategies of intensive advising in order to best support students and learn more about a student’s story to advise the whole student
- Advisors and Advisees develop a strong relationship throughout a student’s time at St Olaf all while factoring in the lens of disability and access in order to best support students
TRIO SSSD

Student Support Services for Students with Disabilities (SSSD)
Student Support Services for Students with Disabilities (SSSD) is a federally funded TRIO college retention program serving 100 students per year. TRIO/SSSD helps students with disabilities develop the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue and successfully complete a college education by helping students focus on academic and personal development.
TRIO/SSSD is funded by the United States Department of Education and St. Olaf College.
