As there are a limited number of spaces available in the SSSD Program, priority will be given to:
Students who are both income eligible and a student with a documented disability
Alumni of other TRIO programs: Upward Bound, Talent Search, Educational Opportunity Center, other Student Support Services;
Students who demonstrate a need for SSSD program services
MOST IMPORTANTLY, students MOTIVATED to make full use of TRIO SSSD services.
Completed SSSD application.
Documentation of a disability is required. If you are not currently registered with Disability and Access (DAC), you will need to complete the intake process found on the DAC website (https://wp.stolaf.edu/academic-support/getting_started/). If you are currently registered with DAC, obtain a letter of eligibility for SSSD from your Accessibility Specialist.
All these criteria must be met to be eligible for SSSD
Citizens or nationals of the United States or people who meet the residency requirements for federal student financial assistance.
Students enrolled at St. Olaf College or accepted for enrollment in the next academic term at St. Olaf College.
Students who have a need for SSSD program services.
