By Elise Ytterboe
Preface
There are many things one could write about and could reminisce over for one who has been permitted to be so near this school for so many years. It would take a more fluent pen than mine to do justice to such a topic.
My hope in writing these pages, which are personal experiences, is that someone may some day read these lines and bring to mind some incidents they have forgotten.
If I were a writer I would write volumes on the life at St. Olaf, the men and women who have been here, the men and women who are here now; but I am not a writer. I can only exclaim with the psalmist David, “The lines have fallen in pleasant places.”
