Staying on campus: the unfiltered experience

Want the full nostalgic throwback? Staying in the dorms puts you right in the heart of the action, steps away from every event, late-night gatherings, and a campus walk down memory lane.

That said, we want to be completely honest: dorm accommodations are pretty sparse. If you are considering staying on campus, here is the real lay of the land:

College-Issue Beds: Expect standard, firm Twin XL mattresses. Nostalgic? Absolutely. Luxurious? Not quite.

Shared Amenities: Depending on the building, you will likely be sharing a hallway or suite bathroom.

Toiletries & Personal Care: Pack your full wash kit (including soap, shampoo, and toothpaste)—dorm bathrooms are unstocked.

BYO Comforts: Basic linens are provided (sheets, pillowcase, bath towel and washcloth), but you won’t find plush hotel towels, daily housekeeping, or room service here. (Pro tip: Bring your own pillow, extra blanket, eye mask, hangers, and shower shoes!)

Variable Comfort Control: Temperature controls can be quirky, walls are thin, and elevator access varies by hall.

If your days of “roughing it” are firmly behind you—or if you rely on a plush mattress, a private bathroom, guaranteed quiet, and strong AC to get a good night’s sleep—we strongly recommend booking a local hotel room now. Nearby accommodations fill up fast during reunion weekend, so lock in your reservation early if you prefer the comforts of home!
