Campus Housing

To make this weekend special and bring back memories of your years on the Hill, you are invited to stay on-campus for Reunion Weekend. This cost-effective option is a great way to continue the fun after hours. You will be assigned to a residence hall with your classmates and hall lounges will be available for informal gatherings.

The cost is $40 per person per night. Housing is included in the All-Weekend Package.

If you arrive after 9:00 p.m. and you are staying in a residence hall, please check-in at the front desk of the residence hall assigned to your class year to locate your room number. In the morning, please visit Guest Services in Buntrock Commons to receive your lanyard.

Housing Description

Most rooms are furnished with two single beds. If you register alone, no one else will be assigned to your room. Bed linens (a pillow, sheets, and a blanket), towels and a washcloth are furnished. For your added comfort, you may wish to bring an extra towel, a blanket, hangers, an alarm clock, a fan, a hair dryer, and a reading light. Note that the rooms in Ytterboe may be cool, and you may wish to bring an extra blanket.

There will not be an extra charge for young children who share their parents’ room; however, they will need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow (this option is not available for adults). If you need a separate room for your children, you will be charged $40 per child per night. Bathrooms are not located in individual rooms. There is a gender neutral bathroom available in every dorm.

  • Keys are not issued, so please leave your valuables at home.
  • The main doors to the residence halls will be open 7 a.m.–midnight.
  • Front desk attendants in each hall are available to open the door until 1 a.m.
  • After 1 a.m., call Public Safety at 507-786-3666 for access to your residence hall.

The campus-wide policy on alcohol is in effect for all St. Olaf buildings, residence halls, and campus areas, with the exceptions of class dinner locations and the designated evening entertainment areas.

  • If you register with another guest, you will be housed together, unless otherwise indicated.
  • If you do not register with another guest and you did not indicate a roommate, you will be housed in a single.
  • If you indicate a roommate preference, that person must also indicate you as a roommate in order to be housed together.
