Caligari in Context brings together a collection of primary sources and background information to provide historical context for the German silent film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920). It serves as a starting point for students to learn how historical background plays into the making and reception of a movie. The website also offers students a jumping off point from which to conduct their own research on the film.
