Pizza Thursday
Every Thursday during community time (11:30am-12:30pm) the Philosophy Department hosts an occasion for informal philosophical discussion over (free!) pizza. This usually takes place in the 4th floor Holland Hall lounge and is open to all interested in philosophy and/or free food. A philosophy faculty member typically hosts the discussion. Please see the department calendar [link to dept calendar] for the most recent information about topics and location.
If you would like to be added to the Pizza Thursday email list, please contact vanzui2@stolaf.edu.

Philosophy Film Club
The Philosophy Film Club hosts film screenings followed by philosophical discussions for students interested in film, philosophy, and thoughtful dialogue on human experience. Any level of prior exposure to philosophy and/or film is sufficient, and all are welcome. Dinner and drinks are provided! Please see the Department Calendar [link to dept calendar] for an up-to-date schedule.
To express interest in joining a session and/or becoming a student organizer of the Philosophy Film Club series, please contact: vanzui2@stolaf.edu

Phi Sigma Tau
Phi Sigma Tau is the international honor society in philosophy. Our chapter promotes interest and achievement in philosophy among St. Olaf students by sponsoring a student colloquium series at which students present and discuss their work. The chapter also hosts writing workshops as an opportunity for community and feedback during term paper season. Student officers plan and lead all chapter events. For information about becoming a member or presenting your work at a colloquium, contact vanzui2@stolaf.edu.
