En-Con is a first-year interdisciplinary learning community organized around required and elective courses, open to all St. Olaf students interested in an integrated exploration of environmental questions, challenges, and possibilities.

Additional Information
Up to 40 students are admitted into EnCon annually and automatically separated into two cohorts. Both cohorts regularly meet together in fall and spring semesters and are team-taught by two faculty each semester. All EnCon students gather for ENVST 137: Introduction to Environmental Studies with one faculty member during the January Term.
