Dear Reunion Attendees:
This page includes important information to ensure you have a great experience during Reunion Weekend. Below, you will find useful details alphabetized by subject. For example, scroll to “P” for information about parking or “C” to learn more about visiting campus with children.
Please review this information along with the Schedule of Events for the weekend.
When you arrive on-campus, check-in on the ground floor of Buntrock Commons to receive your lanyard and housing assignment. If staying overnight, we advise parking near Buntrock Commons to check-in before proceeding to your dormitory.
PLEASE NOTE:
You must be wearing your lanyard at all times to access meal and entertainment venues.
We look forward to seeing you on the Hill!

The 5K will be held on Saturday, June 3. Check-in for registered 5k participants begins at 7 a.m. at Tostrud. The race begins at 8 a.m.
Alcohol
Alcohol is only allowed in designated areas and must be purchased from St. Olaf. Wine is included with evening meals. Beer and wine will be available for purchase on Friday and Saturday evenings and on Saturday afternoon.
Cash
Please note that many St. Olaf vendors are now cashless. We advise bringing a credit card or debit card with you to complete transactions while on-campus. If needed, an ATM is available in Buntrock Commons.
Children
Children are welcome at St. Olaf for Reunion Weekend, but on-campus amenities are limited. We advise packing the following items for those under 3 years of age: Portable crib and high chair; stroller; extra snacks and beverages; and diapering supplies. There is a lactation room in Buntrock Commons for breastfeeding mothers. Please request the key from Registration. No on-site babysitting services are offered during Reunion Weekend.
Class Gift
It’s not too late to support your class gift! Contribute to the St. Olaf Fund before May 31 and make sure you’re counted when your class presents their gift during Reunion Weekend.
COVID-19
In keeping with the college’s current guidelines, COVID-19 vaccines and boosters are not required to attend Reunion Weekend. The college strongly recommends that all members of our campus community remain up-to-date with COVID vaccines, per CDC guidance. Masks will not be required during any Reunion Weekend events.
Dining
Please note that on-campus dining options are extremely limited. When you check-in, your lanyard will indicate if you are registered for meals. If you did not pre-register for meals, a limited number of tickets for Stav Hall will be sold at Registration. Other options include dining in Northfield, DoorDash, or the bookstore, which sells snacks and cold beverages.
Entertainment
Please check the latest Schedule of Events to see the variety of entertainment options we have in store for you! Reunion Weekend is designed with you in mind, so plan to join us on-campus for the entire weekend.
Housing
If you arrive after 9:00 p.m. and you are staying in a residence hall, please check-in at the front desk of the residence hall assigned to your class year. In the morning, please visit Registration in Buntrock Commons to receive your lanyard.
Residence halls are locked 1:00 – 5:00 a.m. every night. Front desk attendants will be available until 1:00 a.m. to open the door. If you need access to your hall between 1:00 – 5:00 a.m., you may call St. Olaf Public Safety at 507-786-3666.
Bed linens (pillow, sheets, and a blanket), towels, and washcloth are furnished with your room. See What to Bring for suggestions on what to pack for your added comfort.
Please note that room keys are not issued, so leave valuables at home or in your car.
Because parking is limited, we will have shuttles circling the grounds to provide transport for you (and your luggage, if needed) to varying locations on campus. See Transportation for more information.
Guests Under 21
Guests under 21 will be given a wristband at check-in. Wristbands are required to access meal and entertainment venues during the weekend. St. Olaf reserves the right to ID any guest at any time when serving or selling alcoholic beverages.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, every effort will be made to move Reunion Weekend activities indoors. Text message announcements and signage will be used to communicate updates to guests.
Parking
No parking is allowed by yellow painted curbs or fire lanes. Reunion guests are also asked to refrain from parking on the grass.
Reunion guests are welcome to park in any on-campus parking lot, including those designated for faculty and staff. If parking is no longer available on upper campus, there is ample parking in the Skoglund/Tostrud lot, to which a shuttle will be regularly circulating (see Transportation).
In the unlikely event you receive a parking ticket while on-campus, please email alum-office@stolaf.edu with the citation number and your name and a member of the Alumni and Parent Relations staff will address it for you.
