Spaces available for scheduling can be found here After you choose a location that fits your needs you will need to reserve the space. Please choose a room that fits the number of people in your meeting or event. If there is a space better suited for the number of guests, you will be moved to a more fitting location. Buntrock Space
If you are looking for a space for a meeting or event in Buntrock Commons, please start here Buntrock Spaces. Buntrock spaces should be used with the standard set-ups that are available. Special set-ups will only be accommodated for extenuating circumstances, and will incur a department charge for the set-up. The Buntrock Office is happy to assist with finding the location to best meet your needs and help minimize additional charges.
Standard Set-Ups include:
- The standard set in the Ballrooms is 36 round tables with 8 chairs at each. Sun-16 tables, Gold-10 tables and Black-10 tables.
- Furniture is to be used as is in the conference rooms or the King’s Dining Room (Trollhaugen, Valhalla, Johnson Boardroom, President’s Boardroom.)
- Six foot rectangle tables (quantity of 24) are available in Buntrock Commons for catering, Buntrock tabling, or for use in the Crossroads or the Pause. Groups setting up and taking down their own tables must return to the appropriate place at the end of the reserved time, or a fee may be assessed.
Other set-ups will only be approved for special circumstances, and should be coordinated through a facilities work order and will incur a set-up fee:
- For any event requesting additional tables, above the standard set-ups noted above, there will be a minimum fee of $200 for additional table delivery and pick up, as well as charges assessed for set-up.
- Any other event requiring the moving of furniture will only be considered for special circumstances, and will incur a set-up fee.
Other Campus Space
- The Campus Events Office and Scheduling Office have the discretion to direct groups to spaces better suited to meet the needs of the event.
- All space on campus is general campus space, and not owned by any department. Campus events and the Scheduling Office have the discretion to direct events to any campus spaces when a need arises that is best suited for that space.
