Description: For most hours of the day, the shadow from Buckskin Mountain covers Holden Village and the foothills of the neighboring peaks with a diffused bluish light, which I managed to capture in this photo of a fellow visitor sledding. Sledding was one of frequent outdoor activities for groups of village kids, long-term-staff, short-term guests, and college "J-termers," which gave us time in embodied, playful community while surrounded by natural beauty.
