A program dedicated to supporting Multicultural, BIPOC, First Generation and Low-Income students.
Peer-mentorship makes a difference in helping students navigate their first year. Many multicultrual, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), low income and/or First Generation (students of parents who didn’t graduate with a 4-year degree) students have reported having a mentor was helpful in finding a sense of belonging. Navigating community life can bring its own twists and turns. The Connect for Success Scholars (CFSS) Peer-mentors will walk alongside our students as they navigate the first year at St. Olaf College and help them accomplish their goals.
