Spring 2020: Decolonizing Global and Local Experiential Learning

This three session series investigates ethical approaches to global and local experiential learning through a decolonization lens. The first session will dive into foundational research on decolonizing curriculum. The second session will involve a site visit. The third session session will focus on synthesizing, reflecting, and preparing to adapt future courses and content towards decolonization. The workshop will be facilitated by Theresa Heath (Associate Director, IOS) and Alyssa Herzog Melby (Assistant Director, ACE).  Faculty honorariums will be available to honor your time and investment in this work.

This workshop is supported by International and Off-Campus Studies, the Academic Civic Engagement program, and the Center for Innovation in the Liberal Arts.
