I, the undersigned student (or parent/guardian if the student is under 18 years of age) understand that St. Olaf College may use the submission I created while as a student as part of the above class project, festival, competition, promotional or work-related activity.

I understand that works may be shared for educational or promotional purposes on campus or at conferences as examples of student projects. They may also be posted or displayed publicly for these purposes.

Permission

In order to share my work described above, I hereby grant St. Olaf College permission to:

Reproduce and distribute my work;
Modify the work to conform to the goals of the project or activity and to reformat it as necessary to preserve its perceptibility and usefulness;
Publicly disclose the work including on St. Olaf College’s social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Panopto or YouTube pages.

Project Sharing Preferences*

The above consent applies to:

ALL forms – – my work can be shared and displayed publicly for promotional and educational purposes; my work can be shared in conference presentations and at events outside of St. Olaf as a student work example; my work can be shared as part of in-class presentations as a student example;

ONLY in-class presentations as an example of student work and ONLY at St. Olaf College-hosted events- – my work can be shared and displayed publicly on St. Olaf websites or part of St. Olaf-hosted exhibits or events; my work can be shared as part of in-class presentations as a student example – – NOT shared as part of conference presentations outside of St. Olaf or on St. Olaf’s College’s Facebook, Instagram, Panopto, or YouTube pages;

ONLY in-class presentations and St. Olaf-restricted presentation of my work – – my work can be shared as a student example for in-class presentations and ONLY on St. Olaf-restricted websites (e.g. in-class and only on websites or platforms that are restricted to St. Olaf users – – NOT publicly available outside St. Olaf)

Unlisting My Work (Optional)

I would like to request that my work be shared as unlisted (publicly visible outside of the St. Olaf organization but removed from internet search engines) whenever possible – if this setting is not available, my work can still be shared as indicated in the Project Sharing Preferences.
