St. Olaf College | New Students

Week of August 1st, 2021

Greetings, Ole!

At St. Olaf College, we believe in the importance of creating a safe and healthy environment for all of our community members. To that end, we have partnered with EVERFI to provide training that will help us all be informed on topics vital to achieving this goal. In addition to being highly interactive and engaging, these required training sessions are based in research around the best practices for healthy communities.

All incoming St. Olaf students must have all three EVERFI training sessions complete before classes begin. You will receive an email to your St. Olaf email account with access links to the training. Please complete all courses by Sunday, September 5, 2021, to ensure you are ready to start your classes. You will also build on topics learned in your training throughout New Student Orientation. The trainings you will complete are

  • AlcoholEdu for College: Primary (1.5 hours)
  • Diversity, Equity and Belonging for Students (45 minutes)
  • Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates (1 hour)

These training sessions will take time to complete, so we recommend that you schedule each course one by one so you do not get overwhelmed with the content. Courses will save your progress, so it is okay if you need to stop and return at a later time. Again, the deadline to complete these courses is Sunday, September 5, 2021.

Thank you for helping us to build the best campus community that we can. Should you have any questions that cannot be addressed through EVERFI’s 24/7 technical support, please email everfi@stolaf.edu.
