Whether a “welcome to” or welcome back” message is more accurate, our Week of Welcome is all about spreading an energizing feeling of welcome to all members of the St. Olaf community: students, staff, and faculty!
Each event during our Week of Welcome is crafted with our community in mind and all are welcome to join in the festivities! To add to the fun, we’re giving away prizes throughout the week! Each time you attend an event and swipe in, you will be entered to win!

Let’s go, Oles! Kickoff the 2024-2025 athletic year with your Ole athletes at the Sideline Carnival. Come play some sports-themed carnival games, earn tickets, and win prizes!
It’s a welcome celebration! All students, staff, and, faculty are welcome to gather with the Division of Community & Belonging to celebrate the colors of our campus. Enjoy cupcakes, colorful crafts, and conversation. You will also hear brief remarks from Vice President Eduardo Pazos, and find out ways to stay connected with various affinity groups.
Time to explore the arts! Come connect with the fine arts on campus through dance, visual arts, theater, music, and more! Bring your own fabric item to screen print with the art department! Enjoy some craft lemonade while meeting students and staff from the four arts programs at St. Olaf.
Join us in downtown Northfield to explore our hometown community! All students, staff, and, faculty are welcome to enjoy Northfield’s downtown businesses and gather in the square to discover ways to stay connected in this community we call home.
