Neuroscience is a multidisciplinary program that draws from psychology, biology, chemistry, kinesiology, physics, mathematics and other disciplines. The neuroscience program provides students access to the field by linking curricula, faculty, and students in a major that requires foundations in at least two natural sciences and allows students to explore connections with courses in the arts, humanities, and social sciences.

Additional Information
NEURO 125 may be taken in the fall or in the spring but must be taken within the first year to be eligible to declare the major.
MATH 120 is offered each term. MATH 119 is only offered in the Fall. AP/IB/CAL/PSEO can substitute for MATH 120.
CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS COURSEWORK
- Credit for transfer courses is done in consultation with the Registrar and the Director of Neuroscience.
- Credit for Psych 125 is given for an AP Psychology score of 4 or 5.
Placement
- Not applicable for NEURO 125.
- For math and chemistry, students should follow their placement recommendation found in the Student Information System (SIS).
