Management Studies (MGMT)

Management studies is a multidisciplinary program offering a contract concentration in management studies that can be earned in conjunction with any B.A. academic major. Individual contracting encourages students to consider personal goals as they design a program of courses in management studies, economics, and other disciplines.

Additional Information

*Take Principles of Economics (ECON 121) in either the first or second semester of the first year. No Management Studies courses are open to first-year students.

All courses for the concentration must receive a grade of C or better (not C-) and cannot be taken pass/fail.

CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS COURSEWORK
  • Credit for Economics 121 is given to students who (1) receive scores of 4 and above on BOTH the AP Macroeconomics and the AP Microeconomics Examinations, (2) earn a 6 or a 7 on the IB Higher Level (HL) Examination in Economics, or (3) earn an A (a*) on the Cambridge A Level Exam in Economics.

  • Not applicable to any Management Studies courses.
