Students not enrolled in Fall courses will be expected to check out of Summer housing by August 21.

Students will receive emails regarding their move at the end of the Summer II session.

Summer 2 Housing Transitions & Check-outs

Check-out with a Residence Life Staff Member is not required; however, if you would like a staff member to assist with your check-out, you may schedule an appointment by visiting the front desk of your residence hall between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Please note that during the summer, Micro-fridges should not be unplugged. Additionally, all cooking supplies such as pots and pans must be returned to the front desks at New Hall and Mohn Hall. Residents are also required to follow the basic cleaning guidelines and complete the key drop-off process before leaving their rooms.

Checking Out After Summer 2 Session or College Program

All residents must be checked out by Thursday, August 21 at 1:00 p.m. You will remain in your current Mohn Hall and/or New Hall location until that time.

Remaining On-Campus past Thursday August 21

You will relocate to your Fall 2025 housing assignment between August 15–17. Key pick-up will take place between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at your Fall 2025 residence hall. If your room is not ready at the time of relocation, you will remain in your summer assignment until your space becomes available. More information will be provided soon.

Special Note: During this period of room transitions, Residence Life’s goal is to move students directly into their Fall 2025 assignments. However, due to ongoing summer programs and limited availability, if your Fall assignment is not immediately ready, you will be placed in a temporary assignment and relocated as soon as your permanent room becomes available.

Storage

Storage

Students may store their belongings in the Summer Hall Storage Room as space permits on a first-come, first-serve basis before the end of the spring semester. Storage will be open at the end of the semester and times will be announced closer to May. When you arrive at the storage during the posted hours, inform the hall staff person working that you will be a summer resident.

At the end of each summer term, arrangements can be made through the Residence Life Office to deposit belongings in the storage room (if space is available) of the residence hall in which you will reside during the upcoming Fall Semester. Townhouse residents may store belongings in storage located in New Hall.
