Move In Information
St. Olaf is a residential college.
As a residential college, St. Olaf requires that all students reside in college-owned housing, as far as accommodations permit. The residence hall staff, building inventory and event programming is structured to support student development and the “adulting” process.
The residential experience is enriching and compliments the classroom and student involvement engagements. In on-campus living students have the opportunity to connect, lead and support their community.
ADVANTAGE OF THE RESIDENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
- Community responsibility
- Development of leadership skills and social confidence
- Respect for others
- A healthy, balanced, sustainable collegiate experience
The Office of Residence Life is committed to promoting student learning in a safe and secure living environment.
