
Ytterboe Hall houses 402 students in suites of four to ten residents. Each suite (or pod) consists of single and double rooms arranged around a common living area. All Residence hall rooms are equipped with beds, extra long twin mattresses, dressers, desks, desk chairs, and neutral colored drapes. This hall features a beautiful main lounge, study lounges, computer facilities, sinks in the rooms, and music practice rooms.
Gender Inclusive Housing in Ytterboe denotes the individual pods can be gender inclusive. The community bathrooms in Ytterboe Hall are not gender inclusive. Residents may choose from the gendered community bathrooms on the floor and/or use the single user bathroom.
- The community bathrooms in Ytterboe hall are assigned genders after the housing selection process closes. The designations may change from one year to the next. The designations for the genders are made before early arrivals for the Fall semester.
- Single User bathrooms are not designated as gender inclusive or disability accommodation bathrooms. Single user bathrooms can often provide support in these areas but not are designated for exclusive use for either purposes. Any student may use the single user bathroom.
- The door connecting any pod to a community bathroom will be locked. The connected pod will gain access to the bathroom as all other pods through the bathroom main entrance door located in the hallway.

The Ytterboe Hall room dimensions are as follows: all rooms __A, __F and 378D are 14’x16′; all rooms __B, __E are 12’x16‘; all rooms __C, __D are 8’ x 12’.
Rooms 32, 70, 117, 131, 132, 217, 231, 232, 246, 273, 317, 331, 332, 346, and 373 are 10’ x 14’. Room 121E and 124B are 12’ x 15’.
