Once you’ve gotten used to Blocks, you’ll find that editing and updating your content is fairly effortless.
As we describe in our Welcome to Blocks section, you have access to all the settings previously included in the Panels, but now in their corresponding Blocks. Further, those familiar St. Olaf blocks are only part of a much larger selection of blocks. Think about it this way: in the Blocks Editor, everything is a block.
Every new paragraph, every heading, every image.
When you open your Edit view (by clicking “Edit Page” in the black toolbar) you’ll see your blocks lined up, in Preview mode. To edit a block, hover over it and click the pencil icon. Then you’ll see some familiar stuff.
Each block has a “Content” tab and a “Settings” tab.
- Content is where you’ll find the text, images, and other elements associated with the look and feel of your block’s content.
- Settings is where you can control the spacing, alignment, and other formatting elements
You can make the necessary changes to as many blocks as you want, but don’t forget to click “Update” in the top righthand corner when you’re done, to save all changes.
