St Olaf College offers excellent small- and large-group meeting spaces within an hour’s drive of the Twin Cities and Rochester. Located in historic Northfield, Minn., on one of the most beautiful campuses in America, the college provides a setting free from everyday distractions — one that encourages creativity, productivity and reflection.
St. Olaf offers facilities and planning services for a wide array of guest events: corporate meetings, employee training, camps, conferences, banquets, weddings, company picnics and more.
The attractive and accessible facilities of Buntrock Commons, located at the heart of campus, include meeting rooms that comfortably accommodate groups of five to 400. The building, completed in 1999, provides a variety of settings, from boardroom to ballroom, that facilitate and inspire group interaction.
Viking Theater, a 144-seat multimedia venue in Buntrock Commons offers a dynamic environment that is ideal for presentations.
The Black and Gold Ballroom offers flexible seating for conferences, meetings, receptions and special occasions. The 5,232-square foot ballroom can be divided into three sections that rent separately or as one.
Other Campus Locations
Surrounding the campus green are other buildings that offer flexible spaces for multi-media presentations, exhibits, receptions, performances, ceremonies, lectures and seminars for small to large groups. Among the most popular are the Dittmann Center for the Arts, Christiansen Hall of Music, Boe Memorial Chapel and Theater Building.
Norway Valley, restored prairie wetlands, woodland trails and flower gardens provide lovely settings for outdoor events and recreation.
