On February 22, 2021, Candice Davis kicked off the 2021 Flaten Lecture Series with a virtual lecture.
Candice Davis is a conceptual artist from San Antonio, Texas and working in Minneapolis. Her practice is focused in digital media, installation, and performance as a means of witnessing for the experiences of marginalized people, with specific emphasis on her experience as a Black woman in the United States of America.
