As we gather around the theme Nourishing Vocation: Every Time + Every Age + Every Place, conference chaplains serve as companions along the way. They offer a ministry of presence, listening, prayer, and pastoral care for participants throughout the gathering.
Whether you are reflecting on something you have heard, discerning a next step in your calling, carrying a personal concern, celebrating a moment of joy, or simply seeking a conversation partner or prayer, chaplains are available to accompany you.
You will find chaplains present throughout the conference, especially during Kairos Times. We invite you to reach out whenever you would welcome a listening ear, a prayerful companion, or a moment of reflection and renewal.
Our Chaplains
Rev. Janet Hunt

Pastor Janet Hunt is a retired ELCA pastor who calls Sycamore, Illinois her home. After 36 years of active ministry in a variety of contexts in Illinois, in addition to occasional supply preaching, she now serves as a certified clergy coach through the ELCA Coaching Network. This work involves walking alongside both individual clergy as well as congregations as they discern their best ‘next steps’ in their work and in their lives. In her spare time, she is an avid walker, she loves to bake for friends, and of late is working hard to keep the weeds at bay in her garden!
