For those of you who are not technologically inclined, or if you just need a refresher course with the Clie, this page is for you. We’ll start out with the layout of the Clie.
Home, Menu, Calculator, and Find Buttons
Home – This button is fairly easy to explain. Pressing this button will bring you back out to the list of programs to choose from, much like the picture above, no matter which program you’re in.
Menu – This is the button right below Home. This button is used to access menus in many programs, much like clicking on “File” in many desktop computer programs. Depending on what program you are currently running, the menu options will appear different.
Calculator – This is another easy button. Pressing it simply brings up a calculator.
Find – This allows you to search for various files on the Clie. This button is not necessary for the purposes for which we use the Clie.
Calendar, Address, Scroll, To Do, and Memo Buttons
These buttons are rarely used for our purposes, but we’ll explain them anyway.
Calendar – This button brings up a fairly simple calendar to keep yourself organized.
Address – This button brings up an address book.
Scroll – This button acts as a scroll button. In Audio Player it can be used to turn up or to turn down the volume.
To Do – This button brings up a to do list
Memo – This button brings up a memo pad. However, when Handstory is installed, pressing the Memo button launches Handstory.
