Transitive Pairs
Some verbs describe situaltions in which humans act on something (transitive verbs),
other verbs describe changes that happen to things or people(intransitive verbs).
Transitive verbs:あける= open something, しめる= close something, いれる= put something in
Intrasitive verbs:あく= something opens, しまる= something closes, はいる= something goes inside
たけしさんがでんきをつけました。
Takeshi turned the lights on.
でんきだつきました。
The light went on.
