King Kanji
King Kanji can be used in a variety of ways to learn Japanese. Different settings allow the user to learn vocabulary and kanji in various ways. There are seven possible ways to study each lesson. To change these settings open the King Kanji program in the education folder on the Clie. Press the ‘Menu’ button (the button under the house icon) then select Options on the top bar and select Preferences. By checking or un-checking boxes you may control what King Kanji displays. Using different combinations of settings, you may quiz yourself in different ways.
Some features of King Kanji include displaying kanji or kana stroke order. To see the stroke order of a character press on the character on the screen. The longer you hold the stylus down on the character, the slower the strokes will be shown.
Another feature of King Kanji is being able to scroll left and right in the reading bar. To do this, touch the stylus to the bar, and slide it left or right, depending on which way you want to scroll.
