The Musical Theater concentration is open to all majors in the Bachelor of Arts program. Musical theater is an interdisciplinary art form that is culturally relevant by offering opportunities for discourse and dialogue on social issues, societal change and culture through its performance. This genre of theater has deep roots in American culture and is wildly popular offering ample, consistent, and financially supported professional opportunities for those who wish to have careers as artists.

Additional Information
No courses in the MT concentration are required freshman year. Please contact MT Concentration Director if you’d like to take voice lessons. 3 semesters of voice lessons will be paid for by the college, additional semesters of voice lessons are encouraged but will require an additional lesson fee from the student. Many courses required for the MT Concentration are open to first year students and can be taken any semester.
