Ellingson Reslife Team 2025-26 AY
Muvaki: I’m Muvaki Nhlema (he/him) and I’m this year’s Student Hall Coordinator for Ellingson! I’m a senior majoring in Computer Science, Chinese & Asian Studies with a concentration in Statistics & Data Science. I love singing and dancing, and I lead a Bible study on campus! This year, I’m looking forward to spending time with everybody on our different floor lounges. One thing I love about the Hill is the people! I love that everyone’s warm and smiles at you as you walk around.
Alex: Hi Everyone! My name is Alex, and I’m a senior majoring in Kinesiology, hoping to become a Physical Therapist. I grew up in Mongolia, and if you’re interested in travelling there one day, I can help you with travel plans. I look forward to working with all of the freshmen whom I can learn from and help in ways that I can most support them. What I love about living on The Hill is you have everything you need right next to you, and you get to hang out with your friends anywhere and anytime.
Gongdao: Hi! I’m Gongdao Lyu, or just call me Luke! I design, sing, and hoop! More importantly, I’ll be the Identity Assistant for Ellingson Hall for 2025–2026. I’m excited to help build a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere throughout the floors. Feel free to reach out to me for help with anything. One thing I love about Olaf… you can do laundry for FREE! Some advice for first-year students: never feel awkward about making mistakes or asking questions—to err is human!
Ava: “Hello! My name is Ava Stockinger and I am a sophomore here at St. Olaf. I am hoping to major in Biology or Economics (still a work in progress :). I love going on walks with my family, doing crafts and chatting with friends, and being here at St. Olaf! I am super excited to be an RA in Ellingson Hall this year! One of my favorite things about being here on The Hill is all of the wonderful people that make up the student body and all of the amazing professors, staff and faculty. There are so many fantastic and kind people here, so don’t be afraid to stop and chat with someone (including myself, I love to talk :).”
Tavhida: My name is Tavhida Bakhtiyorzoda (pronounced Tuh-vee-duh), and I’m a junior at St. Olaf College. I’m very excited to be an RA for Ellingson Hall during the 2025-26 academic year and meet all of the Ellingson residents! One thing I love about living on The Hill is seeing the beautiful nature and architecture.
