Fall Tableau of Canada & New England
September 24–October 5, 2025
Hosted by Megan Larrabee Nelson ’86, 50th Reunion Lead
Experience captivating fjords, rich biodiversity, and fascinating maritime heritage on this 11-night cruise aboard Oceania Cruises’ Insignia.
We set sail in lively Montreal and make way for Saguenay, through the breathtaking Saguenay Fjord, one of the longest fjords in the world. In La Pulperie de Chicoutimi we’ll learn more about the region’s history, culture, and art. In Baie-Comeau, we’ll sample traditional Québécois dishes, such as poutine or tourtiere (meat pie). We’ll visit the Pointe-des-Monts Lighthouse in Sept-Îles, a national historic site and in Havre-Saint-Pierre embark on a whale watching excursion to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
We’ll experience the serenity of Corner Brook while basking in the beauty of Glynmill Pond. Get a taste of Nova Scotia in Sydney and Halifax as we sample local brews in downtown pubs. We’ll cruise to Saint John, where to revel in the Reversing Falls, a mesmerizing tidal phenomenon. Before our journey concludes in Boston, we’ll wander the trendy neighborhoods of Portland and experience the diverse and thriving culinary scene this city is known for.
