This page contains links to examples of assignment prompts, collected through our annual artifact scoring process, that effectively guide students to demonstrate what they’ve learned in relation to a specific Intended Learning Outcome (ILO) within the OLE Core. We hope that these examples can spark ideas for different ways to intetionally incorporate OLE Core ILOs into your course(s) so that existing assignments do not need to be “retrofitted” to accomodate the ILOs (see this page for additional prompt development guidance). These prompts are posted with faculty permission, redacting faculty/course names. Where possible, grading rubrics and extraneous mechanical or process details were removed to shorten prompts. Prompts with pictures or links did not always render properly. Note that for some attributes, prompt examples only represent certain ILOs because others are assessed through different methods.
