Sophomore assessment allows students to get individual feedback from the dance faculty about what’s working well physically/expressively and what students still need to work on physically/expressively. The process is two-fold: during the fall semester students will learn the material and then work on it periodically as a group (student driven). This will be videotaped so students can reference it. In the spring, students will perform the material, and the dance faculty give individual feedback. Here is a link to the sophomore assessment rubric.
