At the end of their Senior year, dance majors will have an opportunity to give important feedback to the dance department about their experience over the four years through the use of Senior Exit Questions. The Senior Exit Questions/Interviews are sometimes done in small groups of 2-4 Seniors at a time paired with 1-2 dance faculty or sometimes the Senior Dance Major Exit Questions are asked via Google form.
Questions to be considered:
- What was your most significant learning in Movement intensive classes?
- What was your most significant learning in Language intensive classes?
- What was your most significant learning from extra-curricular experiences (i.e. performing, conference attendance, mini-tours, summer study) for your learning in dance?
- What was your most significant learning from classes you took outside the department? How did it impact your learning in dance classes?
- What learning opportunities were missing, if any, from your dance experience at St. Olaf? What are your suggestions for how they might be included?
- If there is anything that is not included in these questions—please feel free to bring it up at the interview.
